We actually came here twice on our little Christmas getaway weekend! The first night we checked in while there was a bit of a wait. The host quickly moves through the crowd to efficiently get everyone on the list. We decided to get a drink from the bar and wait outside as the bar was full as well. That gave us time to really check out the rather large menu. We were seated in less time than expected for a larger party and the food as well as the service was great! We then decided to eat here for lunch before hitting the town. The breakfast was equally as pleasing! Highly recommend

Excellent service food and atmosphere absolutely wonderful atmosphere for friends and family food is prepared perfectly

We're from out of town and are so glad we chose Tamara's! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. If I had to pick one thing that wasn't my favorite, it would be the French onion soup--it just didn't quite hit the mark for me. On the bright side, the mimosa was perfectly strong, the rest of the food was incredible, and the service was top-notch. The staff was attentive and friendly, making the experience even better. The atmosphere is a little more upscale but not at all pretentious, which we really appreciated. It's a great spot for a nice meal without feeling overly formal. We loved our visit and would definitely recommend Tamara's!

Greated and sat immediately, server was excellent and had good advice on my choices! Lemon martini was excellent! I had small salad, scallops with spinach parm risotto....was also excellent! The lighting and ambiance was on point! Server Austin was wonderful...we will be back!!

This is one of my favorite paces to eat in Fairhope. They have the best bbq shrimp!!! I want to pick up the bowl and drink the sauce, but it isn't necessary because they give you plenty of break to sop it up with. I've also had their Parmesan crusted fish. It was as delicious as it was beautiful with an orchid as a garnish. The service is always impeccable and I like the vibe of the place. You can't go wrong with Tamara's.

What do I love about Tamara's? Brunch, with more than a dozen choices of Benedict's (and the bloody mary's), that it's open on Mondays!! That it serves lunch and dinner, and has an amazing menu. I was told that the building was previously an auto garage , and was renovated into its unique and charming exterior/interior by the savvy owners that knew Fairhope needed a great dinner place. Always crowded when I've been there, my friends and me have always found a few places to sit at the 20 foot (?) bar, where a gracious bartender is always ready to serve you drinks, appetizers, or your meal, right there. The range of choices is amazing, and a few times I've ordered three appetizers (along with a glass of wine-large selection), like a cup of gumbo, the ahi tuna, and a wedge salad. Or avocado fries, crab cakes and a spinach salad. Whatever you order, you'll be more than happy with your choice. My friends and me make it a point to eat at Tamara's when in Fairhope.

Casual, fine dining in the heart of Fairhope, Alabama. Nestled in a Tucson inspired building, Tamara's brunch was fabulous! We tried a little of everything. A few fan favorites included: - Fresh Lump Crab cakes - these come on a bed of spinach but the spinach is crispy! A very memorable appetizer - shrimp and grits - there are 3 shrimp and grits options to choose from! - the biscuits are freshly made Also the service was on point! Very polite and attentive. We will be returning!

Server Daniel was a 20/10 flawless server who helped me make delicious choices for this relaxing meal. Happy hour crowd was not too loud but pleasantly engaged. The happy hour menu is extensive including small bites snd flat breads. $6 martinis ! The she-crab soup and lemon drop martini were favorites. Great downtown locals restaurant!

My wife and I enjoyed a delicious lunch today at Tamara's Downtown. This is not our first time and surely will not be our last. We were seated by the hostess that turned out to be our waitress. She was pleasant yet somewhat formal. I highly recommend the avocado fries as an appetizer; they are always spectacular. Another outstanding choice is the She Crab Soup. Amazing is an understatement. My Texas Burger was huge and cooked perfectly. My wife enjoyed the Fried Green Tomatoes. All in all another outstanding trip to Tamara's.

What a great place! I ate at the bar and got calamari and a flat bread pizza and a drink! I walked out for $25. Happy hour prices! But great size. Loved the calamari and the drink. The pizza was "ok" (I can fix it at home. Service was 100%.
